An article released by the American Psychological Association reveals that 52% of American adults are experiencing a very significant or somewhat significant degree of stress from the upcoming elections.  Those who use social media are more likely to report stress from the elections.  Election stress was reported at higher rates in the Matures (over age 71) and Millennials (ages 19-37) than in other age groups.

Members of the Indiana Psychological Association (IPA) are available to assist with understanding these findings and the implications on the mental health of Hoosiers.  In addition, they are able to provide helpful tips for managing the stress as the election nears closer.
