Happy Partners Contribute to Better Health
 
Research has shown that our health is related to our happiness, and vice versa. The results of a recent study of almost 2000 heterosexual couples ages 50 and older suggest that the happiness of one person in a couple significantly predicts their partner’s health. While this study focused on middle-aged adults and older, the importance of establishing satisfying, happy, and healthy relationships earlier in adulthood is highlighted here as a way to promote health and longevity.
